Timothy Cangmah

Tim was born in a small village in Myanmar and raised by his grandparents, Tim moved to Malaysia in 2008 before arriving in the U.S. in 2010 as a teenager and a refugee. His journey inspired a passion for serving the Burmese-American community. As the founder of The Overcomers Ministry and Burmese Outreach Director at Greenwood Bible Baptist Church, Tim has been supporting Burmese immigrants since 2018.Tim also works at Firefly Children's and Family Alliance, helping families. Fluent in English, Burmese, and Matu-Chin, he bridges cultural and language gaps to empower others. With a background in religion and academia, Tim is dedicated to mentoring and equipping young people to become strong, compassionate leaders.
